Destruction of mercury
BMT has discovered a solution for binding mercury for the purpose of final storage. In that case the mercury can never be returned to circulation.

Mercury in Oman
BMT has successfully completed a project in Oman. BMT repacked contaminated absorbent into UN approved packaging for the client. The logistics, processing and recycling of the active carbon were completed in 2005.

NORM en KEW
BMT has been granted a permit to treat material which must be reported within the framework of the Nuclear Energy Act. This permit has now been expanded to the treatment of material for which a permit is required.
