Treatment of mercury waste in the Netherlands
Our own factory in Farmsum near Delfzijl has a very high annual distillation capacity. We also treat mercury waste from abroad here. Our experts will be happy to advise you about the acquisition of permits and the logistics surrounding the treatment of mercury-contaminated waste.

Treatment of mercury waste on-site
If the risks of transporting mercury-contaminated waste are too great or if transport costs work out to be too high, it may be desirable to carry out the on-site treatment of mercury waste. If the treatment of large quantities is required, the cost of mobile local processing is comparable to processing in our factory in Farmsum.

BMT's mobile vacuum distillation units
Begemann Milieutechniek has at its disposal mobile vacuum distillation units to provide customers with sufficient treatment capacity on-site, should this be required.

The mobile unit for our soil washing installation
BMT has at its disposal a mobile soil washing installation which makes use of a patented separation process. This process is suitable for treating soil in such a way that local dumping sites can accept the material in the normal way.
