TECHNICAL INFORMATION ON PATENTED SOIL WASHING SYSTEM

Cleaning of soil contaminated with mercury is a specialised activity. For this purpose, BMT developed a patented technique which forms the basis for the method of processing. The method of processing consist of wet sieving, gravity separation, cyclonage, dewatering, treatment of slimes and water purification. All processing parts are installed in compact units which are operated by experienced operators.
In practice BMT's technique and installations have proved their value and effectiveness to several clients. The company carried out several projects where various concentrations of metallic mercury were successfully cleaned.
